'Neath'
Oil on canvas
© Paddy Lennon
Sold, private collection, Co. Wexford

Lennon was inspired to produce this body of work following a period of time spent in Spain, and it encompasses all the quality that he aspires to. Known by many for his evocative and emotive drawings of horses, these colour field paintings demonstrate the wide range of Paddy’s ability as an artist who paints feelings. These new works are sensuous, richly coloured, and soulful – more about mood than place.
